Nowadays, security is at the very heart of our preoccupations. Phaselec can install a security system with a simple alarm or one that is connected to your home automation system. The latter can be used to put out the lights, close the rolling shutters and activate your alarm, and all by just pressing a switch in the entrance of your home. You can also check that it was activated at a distance and activate it if this was not the case. We advise against switching it off from a distance for reasons of security.
We recommend the installation of a hardwired alarm if installing during major renovation work, when fitting dedicated sheaths in the walls and ceiling poses no particular problem. On the other hand, if only doing minor renovation work or no renovation work at all, we suggest you install reliable wireless products, such as Hager radio alarms;
These alarms can be connected to a central video-monitoring system via an analogue phone interface, a GSM interface with a dedicated subscription (for example, if the phone line to the house is easily accessed from the outside).
We can also add smoke or heat detectors or other technical detectors that use KNX interface.
In addition to your home automation interface, we can add remote-controlled digital video surveillance cameras. If an alarm goes off in your home, you will be informed on your phone and you will be able to watch what is happening as it happens. These same cameras can also be used to check on your home if, for example, there is a weather alert for a major weather incident in that area. You will be able to check that all is well from where you are and to contact someone nearby if not. Or you could also, quite simply, enjoy the view of your garden when you are far from home…
We also install complete analogue or digital (depending on requirements) video surveillance systems in condominiums, with dedicated digital storage that can be remote-accessed by the managing agent. We call your attention to the fact that installation rules for condominiums in France are strictly protected by the French Data Protection and Freedom of Information Law (Loi Informatique et Liberté) and by the French civil code for privacy as well as by the criminal code. During our installation work we follow the CNIL’s (the French data protection authority) recommendations to the letter. We do not film the doors leading to the apartments, we request authorization from the Prefecture if anything in the public domain is within view of the cameras, etc. We also wish to point out that a declaration must be sent to the CNIL in the name of the association of co-owners if the places under surveillance are considered to be closed to the public (if can only be accessed using a key or a vigik badge).
